Just Another Time

Most often we put ourselves out there in the World, vulnerable as ever. It’s a risk but we do it anyway. You complain, you regret but at times you also are satisfied, you are happy. Being exposed and vulnerable is a scary thought. It is a difficult decision to make because you give another person the complete right to either make or break you. And whatever their choice is, you’re left to deal with it. For the better, you really don’t mind. But for the worse? You’re hurt.
Not everyone gets what they wish for but that doesn’t mean you stop wishing.

Why is it so much easier to trust a stranger than someone you know? Why is it so much easier to forgive a stranger than someone you love? You’re still going to love, but are you still going to trust the same person again with your heart? There’s always a doubt in your head.

Sometimes all you want is to be fought for, not fought with. It’s easy for one to profess their love. The challenge lies in showing it in your ways. And that’s where most of us fail. You’ve got to prove it for one to believe it.

It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. It’s harder to give someone else that right yet again.
