3 In Honesty Hour/ Writing & Expression

Those eyes, they reflect not with a sparkle but a tear
Those lines across her face, they don’t indicate a smile but speak of her fear
Those hands, they are steady putting up a front
Those feet, they stay put but feel the jitters from the ground
This glass doll broken at fifteen
Put together with gaps of her know
This World of  her own is coming down
Down so deep that there is no looking back
She is only digging deeper, finding her own peace
It’s time for restoration
It’s time for renewal
It’s time for a fresh start
But how do you put a broken heart back together when it’s torn apart?
